Oregon Trip With Mom

Thursday August 16th my Mom and I flew to Oregon to visit my Grandma Guptill. First I have to say that I am grateful for Brinton, his Family and His Girlfriend for helping with the kids while I was gone for a week. We have busy kids so it was no easy task! This was the longest Chris and I have been away from each other while we have been dating but we made it ha! He held down the fort and did some repairs around the house while I was gone because he is the best!
this is Roakes a small infamous hot dog stand that my family and I always visit when we go to Oregon. It has coney island hot dogs, burgers and fries. It was yummy!

My cousin Serena Funk came over to hike with me!! This was Multnomah Falls and was beautiful!. The hike up to the top of the falls over looked the Columbia River Gorge.

This was a small pool at the top of the falls
Ecka Pada kundiasana 1. Because its my fave!

My Aunt Paula came up from Washington on Monday night to say hello. We had fun chatting and catching up. We went and saw the new Borne Movie (which was super intense and great) and then we went and hiked Cascade Crater the next day. The hike was suppose to be 1.8miles long but some how we got off the trail and hiked over 5! hahaha it was good company so I didn't mind at all.
 A slug!!

 Snake!
My Aunt Paula, Grandma Valdine, and Momma
 oh and me too!
This picture is hilarious and I made them take it!!! Darlene always goofin around and being the life of the party!
I had a great time! I read three books: Reviving Ophelia (thanks Max), Opening Chakras (thanks Jennifer) and Hunger Games book 2 (thanks kids). I also went running on hilly roads and found a gym to do some work outs that where out of my norm to switch things up. Oh what's that, yes I found a lululemon of course! I love that place it is ridiculous and sooo cute!!! It was a great week, I missed my kids and my love sooo bad by the end but it was nice to have some time to myself! My Grandma was an amazing host as well!!!

Fossil Springs

A few weekends ago we went up to Fossil Springs Arizona with Brandon and Kaitlyn. Arizona really has some beautiful places to visit!!
We went to one of the main smaller water falls to cliff jump and play.

Brexton can be really cautious about things and really has to think before he jumps. So he picked a smaller ledge and jumped.
 Brandon and Kaitlyn
Cote always has a blast when we go do things of this nature!! Even Nixin has turned out to be quite a little dare devil and thought she was going to jump off the tallest cliff. I had to grab her arm before she jumped. We were standing there watching Rylee ( who is not much bigger then her) so she thought Chris would catch her at the bottom!!

Doing some research in a dammed up swimming area, the water was so blue and really pretty!

These two liked being carried away with the current, don't worry we kept a close eye on them!
The lady had a great time too!!

Back to School 2012-2013

Cote started 6th Grade( i cannot believe how old he is!!!) with Mrs. Brennon, who I happen to know personally and love! He was lucky enough to receive a kendal Fire for his 11th birthday and has read almost the entire trilogy of the Hunger Games! He is also learning how to play the guitar from Chris and seems to love playing golf at the course in our neighborhood.
Brexton started 2nd Grade with Mrs. Grenz. She looped up with her class and he has had a great time so far playing with his old classmates. He loves to play with Manti, Brody Hon, Kyle and Christopher. He has been reading up a storm this summer and has finished the Tail of Unfortunate Events book 1 and is reading Junie B Jones as well. He is a great artist and has such a huge imagination like his daddy!
Brinton caught a few awesome pics before I came over that morning. I always try and make them a special meal on the first day of school and they really wanted donuts so Bosa it was.
As you can see this is how they truly feel about school.... I also was sad to have them start school! I loved hanging out with them almost everyday this summer!
Nixin is in her second year of preschool, this year the 4 yr old class with Ms. Nicole. Brexton also went to Ms. Nicole and Brinton and I really appreciate all she did, so Nixin followed right along! She knows a lot of her letters by sight and can sound them out. She can also write her name. She writes right to left right now but it works for her name since it is spelled the same forward and back. She is also left handed and while coloring, ambidextrous.

Sunsplash Adventure

Chris and I had a date night at Sunsplash's Nite Splash and then when the kids came home we took them as well the Sunday before school started. Yes I know we broke the "no swimming on Sunday" rule. BUT WHO CARES!! it was so fun! I would say for the most part the summer was super awesome! I had the opportunity to just teach and personal train and have the kids almost every day. I was not looking forward to them starting school because we had a great time hanging out!

Mesquite Groves Pool

About two weeks before school started, my friend Cora and I took our kids to MEsquite Aquatic Center to swim. It is amazingly fun for the kids!

Both Boys enjoyed the lazy river
